With the lessening of circuit-breaker restrictions in Regional Victoria, basketball in those regions will be able to move to the ORANGE-50 REACTIVATION LEVEL, with a maximum venue capacity of 300 people per venue as well as a maximum group size of 50 people per court. Spectators in Regional Victoria are allowed within venue limits. 

BPBA competition

Competition will restart on Monday the 21st of June. Fixtures for Monday and Wednesday may change as some external venues give us restricted access. Teams affected by the fixture changes, will be contacted directly via email as soon as possible. 

All teams and spectators must follow the rules below:

  • Limit of one spectator per player
  • All patrons must check in by using the QR Code at the entrance
  • Patrons must sanitize hands
  • Players are not allowed to bring their own basketballs. BPBA will provide basketballs.
  • Masks are mandatory for all patrons over 12 years of age at all times indoors unless medically exempt. Players, coaches and referees are exempt while on court participating in an exertive role.
  • Players and spectators arrive to the venue 10 minutes prior to the game time and leave the venue immediately after the game.

PLEASE NOTE the rules above must be followed at all BPBA venues (Bellarine Sports Centre, BASC, Christian College and St. Ignatius).

BPBA programs and training
