Planning is now under way for the 2023/24 Storm VJBL season
Bellarine Storm are inviting any players interested in playing VJBL for the Storm to attend our selection tryouts for the 2023/24 season. Our Storm program will be entering teams in U12, U14, U16, U18 & U20 Boys and Girls (Note: U20 tryouts will be held in line with youth league BigV program at a later date). If you are interested in joining the Storm family please complete the registration link below and note important information on the tryouts. Please read the included “Parent Information” document which covers costs, and expectations of being part of the Storm program.

Permission to Train: If you have played VJBL before and your most recent club was not the Bellarine Storm (e.g. Geelong United, Surfcoast Chargers) you will require permission to train from your most recent club before stepping on court at our tryouts. Failure to complete this will result in your child being turned away from the session until this permission is gained. Uniforms: Uniform fittings will take place at the first tryouts session for each age group on either the 9th or 10th of September. All new players and any current players that may require a new uniform throughout the season must be fitted on this day. There are no additional uniform orders done throughout the season. Please arrive 30-45 minutes prior to the session start time so fittings can be done prior to the on court component starting.
Parent information:
- Parents/family members will be required to sit in the grandstand on court 1 (for sessions at Bellarine Secondary College) and the grandstand on side of court (sessions at St. Ignatius) to watch the session to ensure a safe environment on the court for all involved.
- Parents please don’t attempt to interact with the coaches or selectors on the day. They will be instructed not to interact with families at the tryouts in the interest of fairness for all athletes trying out.
