Welcome Bridgette Rettstatt

WELCOME BRIDGETTE RETTSTATT

Our inaugural Championship Women’s roster is now set for the coming Big V Season, with the signing of Bridgette Rettstatt.

Rettstatt comes to the Storm after playing with PAOK in Thessaloniki, Greece and is a 6’2″ (188cm) Forward.

Born in Galena, Ohio which is a small town with a population of less than a thousand people, Rettstatt attended Liberty College in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Rettstatt says “After talking with Coach Sanderson, I think my playing style will fit well into his system, and I’m excited for what is to come this season” going on to add “No task is too small to do for the team’s success, whether that is setting a great screen or crashing the boards. I enjoy creating offense through tough defense, and playing in a way that sets my teammates up for success”.

Coach Tim Sanderson says of the signing of Rettstatt “Bridgette had an outstanding college career at Liberty. She will provide us with plenty of offensive firepower and a great commitment to defending. Her size and athleticism gives us plenty of lineup flexibility to compete in a tough league this season. We believe she will be a fantastic addition and fit to what’s a stable roster for the upcoming season”.

Welcome to the Storm Bridgette, we can’t wait to welcome you to the Family.
