Crossover League is a new basketball program designed to transition little ballers from Aussie Hoops to domestic play. It focuses on development, game play and fun for young players eager to learn the game and start competing before joining a domestic team. This league will replace our Slam Jam program from this point forward.

Players can join as part of a team (school, friends, or from slam jam/aussie hoops programs) or register individually and be placed into a team. The competition runs on a term-by-term basis and focuses on participation, enjoyment, and skill development rather than results.

Pricing Information

Term Registration: $80 per player

• Includes weekly games, supervision, and end-of-term participation awards
• No additional team nomination fees

LOCATION/DATE/TIME

• Games are played weekly during the school term on Saturdays @10am for 8 weeks
• League starts: 2nd May
• League ends: 27th June
• NOTE: No sessions 25/4 for ANZAC or 6/6 for King’s Birthday

• Location: Bellarine Secondary College, Drysdale

• Modified rules to support beginners
• No ladders or official scores recorded online
• Scores are kept on the day for learning purposes only
• Equal playing time encouraged for all participants
• Final week of each term features a fun round robin “Festival Day” with awards

Term 1 and Term 3 will include opportunities to connect with local domestic clubs for players looking to progress into competitive basketball.
