On the eve of our debut Championship Women season, the Storm have scored the services of former Geelong junior, Ally Knights for the coming season.
Ally has spent the last two years at Hofstra University, Long Island, New York following two seasons at University of North Florida.
Ally also played VJBL for Geelong Supercats prior to her stint overseas and represented Victoria Country in her Under 16 year.
Storm Championship Women’s Coach Tim Sanderson says of Ally’s signing:
“Ally will return from college in May and provide us another excellent guard option. Having worked with her as a junior I’m looking forward to having her tenacious defence, ability to create shots for herself and others and excellent decision making on our team this year. Her college experience will have her steeled and ready to make an immediate impact on her return”.
Ally’s signing sees our Women’s side grow in strength for the coming season, adding further depth to an already talented roster.
