What a night for the Storm in VJBL last night, with a clean sweep of wins across the night for all 8 teams remaining.
And even better news, that 5 of the 8 winning teams have already booked themselves a spot in their respective Grand Finals in two weeks time, whilst the remaining 3 sides have a crack at achieving that next week.
There were some super individual performances across the night, none mores that our Under 14 Boys 1 side, with Eddie Brown having 36 and then Joshua Grant backing that up with 34 of his own in the same game!
Lyla Kenny and Livian Kelso also proved to be ‘double trouble’ for their opponents Whittlesea in Under 14 Girls 3 with 22 and 21 points respectively, whilst Lucy Howard dominated the Under 18 Girls game to score 21 and lead her team to a victory over Bulleen.
Congratulations to our Under 12 Boys 1, Under 12 Girls 1, Under 16 Boys 3, Under 18 Boys and Under 18 Girls who all won through to the Grand Finals of their Divisions on 8 September.
For our Under 12 Boys 2, Under 14 Boys 1 and Under 14 girls 3, we’re all right behind you next Friday night in your Preliminary Final match ups and hopefully make it 8 big Grand Finals for the Storm in 2 weeks time.
