In big news for our Division 1 Women, the Storm are delighted to announce the signing of Bh’rea Griffin for the 2023 Big V season.
Griffin is a 5’7 26 year old guard, who hails from Chicago, played for Glenville State in NCAA 2 and comes to us after a stint with KBF – Prishtina in the Kosovo Superleague and prior to that, stints in the Coratia WABA, Bosnia Div 1 and the German Bundesliga.
Division 1 Women’s Coach Tim Sanderson says Bh’rea “will bring a toughness and aggressive intent to our group” and that she “has the ability to get to the hoop, create for team mates and make a shot”.
“Bh’rea is a competitor and her experience playing in Europe post-College, will bring great experience to our group”.
