Storm sign first import for 2023 Championship Season

The build up to Big V season 2023 is gaining momentum, with the announcement of our first import for our Championship Men’s team.

The Storm are delighted to secure the services of Jalen King, a 6’10” big man from Pasco, Washington, who looks set to provide Storm fans with some real highlights this season.

King previously played for Eastern Michigan University and Xavier University Louisiana and in the Malta BOV League for Gzira Athleta before arriving at the Storm.

Speaking to the club this week, King says “Be prepared to satisfy your sweet tooth, Bellarine Storm fans! There will be a lot of dunks, blocks and thrilling action to look forward to. I’m excited to join the Bellarine family”.

Storm Championship Men’s Coach Luke Beauglehall says “Jalen has played in 2 really good college systems. Firstly at NCAA1 level at Eastern Michigan University under now NBA coach Rob Murphy before transferring to Xavier University Louisiana in NCAA2 to complete his college journey.

Jalen most recently played in Malta’s top league where he averaged 19 points & 16 rebounds per game.
