Seeking Expressions of Interest for the 2022/23 USA Tour
The Bellarine Storm program will be embarking on our second USA tour from Boxing day 2022
to mid January 2023. We are looking for expressions of interest from players who will be in the
U16 and U18 age groups for the 21/22 VJBL season and playing VJBL with Storm. The final
teams will be selected with the aim of taking the strongest possible boys and girls team from the
expression of interest list to ensure an appropriate standard team for the competition we will
undertake.
What’s Included:
The tour will be organised by Showtime Basketball Tours and led by Storm staff. On this tour we
will venture to North Carolina, New York City and Los Angeles. Events and activities included
will be similar to those listed below:
- 6-8 games against USA High School teams
- Entry to 2 x NBA games
- Visits to USA College campuses such as Duke and North Carolina
- Entry to a College Basketball Game
- Entry to an NHL Hockey game
- Sightseeing in New York (River Cruise, 911 Memorial, One World Tower)
- Outlet shopping opportunities
- 2 day entry pass to Disneyland
- Los Angeles Tour (Venice Beach, Santa Monica Boulevard, Hollywood Walk of Fame)
Eligibility: Must be playing in the Storm U16 or U18 VJBL program for the 21/22 season.
Information Night: An information night with Showtime Basketball Tours will be held for those
who complete the expression of interest form.
