BigV Team Manager Position Description
The team manager role is an important one for our senior representative teams. The Team manager will be required to perform a wide variety of tasks on both game days and during the week. The tasks a manager may be expected to perform are:
Game Day:
- Fill drink bottles
- Assist players/coaches as requested
- Liaise with venue staff
- Ensure security of teams changeroom
- Communicate injuries/issues that arise to the coaches
- Assist players with injuries or health concerns
- Maintain first aid kit including strapping tape (to be supplied by the club)
- Have spare blood uniforms on hand in case they are required
Mid week/training:
- Communicate with office admin staff, players and coaches
- Assist with team travel arrangements
- Assist with coordination of team fundraising activities
Desired Qualifications:
- Level 2 First Aid and or Sports Trainer
This is a voluntary role however you can eat as many party pies you want at the post game functions.
