A very nice night for the the Storm in VJBL last night, with two teams already securing a Grand Final berth.
Congratulations to our U14 Boys 5 and our U18 Girls 1 who have advanced to the last game of the season, courtesy of their victories last night, whilst our U12 Girls 1, U16 Girls 1 and U20 Boys who all won their contests to remain in the hunt.
Sadly, it’s the end of the season for our U12 Girls 2and U16 Boys 2 who went down in their respective battles, the Girls by 3 points and for our Boys it was even closer as they fell to Geelong United by just the solitary point.
To both these teams we say congratulations on making the finals, thank you for all of your efforts this season representing our Association and we hope to see you back again ready to go for the 2024/25 season, which is just around the corner.
Lucas Raleigh starred on the Boy’s side of things, compiling 28 points to help his U14 Boys 5 to a 4 point victory over cross-town rivals Geelong United, whilst Alicia Field was instrumental in our U18 Girls 6 point win over Ringwood.
