BIG V PLAYER OF THE WEEK/YEAR 2024
It’s back again for 2024, however, with a slightly different set up this season.
Due to the structural differences of the Championship and Youth League draws this season, we’ve decided to make 1 award become 2.
This year, we’ll have the Storm Big V Championship Player of the Year and also the Youth League Player of the Year.
The voting system remains the same, with 10 points awarded to the player judged as the Player of the Week and 5 points to the ‘Honourable Mentions’ for each round of Big V 2024.
At the end of the season, we’ll name our two winners of the Storm Big V Player of the Year.
There is no real surprise that our first winner of the Storm Youth League Player of the Week is Lucy Howard.
Lucy put on an absolute clinic in our Youth League Womens’ opening game of the season with 36 points, which is a Storm Youth League Women record, also breaking the previous Club record with 16 of 20 from the field in a masterful performance.
