Earlier this year we asked our community to help shape the future of basketball on the Bellarine. 338 of you responded across four surveys, and we read all 1,740 written comments.

We’ve published the results in full, including the parts that are hard to read. The clearest message was about courts: 91% support BPBA pursuing facility expansion, and only 11% are satisfied with court availability today.

What we’ve already started on

• The new Strategic Plan: your feedback is a key input, and we’re aiming to publish it by the end of the year.
• More courts: we’re continuing to push for new courts through the community petition and regular contact with local MPs and candidates. [Sign the petition]
• Better fixtures: we’ve re-calibrated parts of the domestic competition to cut down on byes and get players on court at more suitable times.
