It’s Finals time in VJBL and it all kicked off last night, for the Storm teams that qualified for the post-season.
Sadly, three of our sides have bowed out after the opening night, after going down in their Elimination Finals. We say thank you to our U14B 1, U14G 1 and U18B 1 for your efforts across the season, representing the Storm.
Better news for our U12G 1 & 2 in the Qualifying Finals, as, despite their respective losses last night, have the second chance and will live to fight on next week.
We did have two winning sides for the night though, with our U16B 2 & U16G 1 both registering wins in their Finals games.
Our U15B 5 and U18G 1 who both topped their divisions, had the night off and will swing into action next week.
Unfortunately, our U20B couldn’t get the victory they needed to wrap a Finals berth and look unlikely to progress to next week.
