Bellarine Storm are calling for coaching applications for the following roles for our Victorian Junior Basketball League (VJBL) teams for the 2020/21 season.
Head Coach
Assistant Coach
For the following age groups:
Under 12 Boys and Girls
Under 14 Boys and Girls
Under 16 Boys and Girls
Under 18 Boys and Girls
Under 21 Boys and Girls
The Bellarine Storm is committed to providing our teams with the best possible chance of competing at the highest level of junior basketball and with this in mind coach positions integral part of our structure.
Interested coaches need to meet the following criteria:
- Attendance at selection try outs with a date TBC.
- Attendance at the VJBL Tournament in November
- Weekly attendance at training sessions and games (Sunday is a compulsory training day for our teams, additional training’s are available through liaison with the Development and High Performance Manager)
- Regular attendance at VJBL coaches meetings (Sunday nights)
- Follow the Bellarine Storm game style as provided by the Development and High Performance Manager
- Attendance at club sanctioned tournaments
- NCAS Level 1 Accreditation or intention to complete the course
- Working with Children Check and VJBL Statutory Declaration
- Adherence to the Basketball Victoria Coaches Code of Conduct
